CSU offers multi-disciplinary courses of study and special certificate programs. Some of those programs are highlighted here.
African Studies Certificate A multi-disciplinary course of study to enhance understanding of the African continent, its people and cultures.
Distance Education Majority of instruction is delivered through one or more forms of distance technology and occurs with the instructor of record and the student(s) separated by time and/or geographic location.
CSU online classes Variety of courses offered via Internet technology.
eCoreĀ® (Internet) Classes Core curriculum classes taught on the Web and designed for students who need the flexibility and convenience of online learning. No longer offered by CSU as of Spring 2009.
GeorgiaONmyLINE Classes GeorgiaONmyLINE (GOML) showcases online courses and programs offered by University System of Georgia institutions. Students can view available online courses as well as register for select online degree programs, such as Columbus State's Master of Education in Accomplished Teaching, through the GOML system.
Modern languages online CSU students can study Chinese through online courses offered by the Georgia Institute of Technology.
European Union Interdisciplinary course of study for students interested in Europe or careers in Europe.
Freshman Learning Communities Clusters of freshman level courses tailored to a particular topic or theme, offered during fall semesters only.
International Education Study abroad and exchange programs.
Latin American Certificate Designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary course of study on Latin America.
Outreach Program Credit courses at outreach sites located off the university's main campus -- in Muscogee and surrounding counties.
World Without Borders A World Without Borders challenges members of the CSU community to think about ways in which the new global environment affects us all.
