eCore Classes Registration Information
The distance education eCoreŽ consists of core curriculum classes taught on the Web (Internet) and designed for students who need the flexibility and convenience of online learning. Core classes are typically classes required during the first two years of a college degree. For more information, see What is eCoreŽ?

blue bullet The required textbooks for all eCoreŽ classes are available for purchase online at http://www.bkstr.com/, or by telephone at 888-360-1808.

While it is strongly encouraged that students purchase their textbooks from Follett, it is not mandatory. If you choose to purchase your books elsewhere, you are responsible for ensuring that you receive the correct textbooks. A textbook list is available at http://www.bkstr.com . If you purchase your textbooks online; please choose a shipping method that will enable your books to arrive by the first week of classes. It is recommended that you purchase your textbooks as soon as possible to avoid paying expedited shipping costs. Please note that most campus bookstores will not carry the textbooks for eCoreŽ courses.

blue bullet Students registered for eCoreŽ courses will receive an an eCoreŽ 'Getting Started' letter and/or e-mail, which will contain important information regarding the eCoreŽ online course.

blue bullet On the first day of the eCoreŽ term, you must sign on to the course at http://ecore.view.usg.edu. If you have questions, call 706-507-8800.

blue bullet eCore's ENGL 2131 "American Literature 1" is not equivalent to CSU's ENGL 3111 "American Literature 1", and eCore's ENGL 2132 "American Literature 2" is not equivalent to CSU's ENGL 3112 "American Literature 2."
