EDUF 7115 Psychology of Teaching 
EDUF 7116 Action Research: Assessing and Monitoring Student and School Achievement 

Area 2 Concentration                        Required Hours: 16 
EDEC 7126 Issues in Mathematics Education in Early Childhood 
EDEC 7155 Cognitive Development in Young Children 
EDEC 7899 Research in Early Childhood 
Select six semester hours (6000 level or above) in early childhood courses or related field studies. 

Area 3 Electives                                 Required Hours: 8
Select eight semester hours (6000 level or above) in early childhood courses or related field studies.

Total Hours Required: 30 

Note: The following courses in Areas 2 and 3 may be taken for the Reading Endorsement: EDRG 6118, EDRG 6148, EDRG 6245 and EDRG 6756.
