ASTR 1105. Descriptive Astronomy (3-0-3) ASTR 1105. Descriptive Astronomy (3-0-3) Structure of the solar system, stellar planetary system, motion and structure of the planets and their moons, asteroid belt, comets and meteors.
ASTR 1305. Descriptive Astronomy Lab (0-2-1) An introduction to observational techniques in astronomy. Use of telescopes and other instruments for the observation of the sun, planets, and their moons, stars nebulae, our galaxy, and other galaxies.
